On June 22,2012, the Mexican Ministry of Agricultue, Rural Development, Fishery and Grain urgently informed the OIE that 3 laying hen farms outbroke H7N3 type High pathogenic avian influenza(HPAI) on June 13, 2012. It cercerned 1 042 000 susceptible animals, and of which, 211 000 had died, 60 000 had been destroied. 

For the purpose of preventing the disease from transmitting into our country,and ensuring the safety of animal husbandry and human health of our country, based on provisions of the "Law of the People's Republic of China on Quarantine of Entry-Exit Animals and Plants " and other related laws and regulations, AQSIQ and the Ministry of Agriculture issued the following announcement on July 18, 2012:
