Compulsory certification will no longer be imposed on 8 kinds of products
On August 13, 2012, AQSIQ and CNCA issued a joint announcement informing that compulsory certification would no longer be imposed on 8 kinds of products.
The 8 kinds of products inculde such products as rubber jacketed flexible cable for mining use, electronic equipment for financial and trade settlement, cable distribution system and parts of sound and television signal, satellite TV broadcasting receiver and tuner, black and white TV receiver and other monochrome television receiver, seat shields of automotive upholstery, and all automotive upholstery products with an area of smaller than the basic sample (356mm×100mm).
The announcement requested the appointed certification bodies no longer to impose compulsory certification on the above mentioned products, and to cancel all the compulsory product certificates issued to the above mentioned products. The above mentioned product certified enterprises should return the purchased but unused compulsory certification mark to the certification body issuing the certification mark, refunds would be given following checking.For details please visit the website of CNCA.
